Jamie Shaw – Creative Director at Cogs & Marvel

Jamie is a creative director schooled in language, steeped in brand thinking, and passionate about experience design. Her particular area of interest is bringing brand stories to life through culturally relevant content that defines a brand’s values and spirit while engaging users in authentic, memorable moments.

An avid traveler and aesthetic explorer, she aims to bring brands into the larger conversation through inspired connections to the zeitgeist. Over her career, she’s worked with global powerhouse brands like Google, Adobe, Apple, and Levi’s; startups like Tile and Glow; as well as boutique lifestyle brands like Olly, Mod, and Urban Remedy. She is also the founder and creative director of an experiential activation for gender equality called That Lady Thing.

Alongside her 20-year career in advertising, she’s earned an MFA in poetry, taught creative writing to undergraduates, and ghostwritten 5 books in the health and nutrition category.

Guests, to RSVP, please email Hannah Heller (hannah.heller@creativecircus.edu) by Friday morning. Students – no need to RSVP.
