A while back, iris Atlanta approached us about a student competition to work on the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership. Grant Weber and Simon Candy came to our school to pitch the idea, and our students gave it their all. Last week, the winners were announced as follows:
1st Place Beltline Brew (Alex Behels, Chris Baker, Elliott Graham)
2nd Place Pick of The Park (Will Benham, Jason Barrett, Lexi Stout, Juliana Lynch)
3rd Place The BeltLine Belt project (Andrew Streib and Keenon Pearson)
Congratulations to our winning students. And a huge thanks to irisAtlanta and the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership for asking us to participate, for being open to the students’ ideas, for your feedback and guidance and for throwing a rad party. We are very eager to see how this project continues in our community and are very proud to have been part of its continued success!
