Mitch Bennett

Mitch Bennett is SVP, Executive Creative Director at Fitzgerald & CO in Atlanta, where he works with Coca-Cola, Synovus Bank, Carrabba’s Italian Grill and others. At Crispin Porter + Bogusky, he helped launch Windows Phone globally and produced campaigns for Bing and Facebook. He worked as creative director at GSD&M on AT&T, Southwest Airlines and American Legacy Foundation, after getting his start at McKinney on Sony and Travelocity and BBDO/NY on Pepsi and Mountain Dew.

His work has been recognized by Cannes, Communication Arts, Archive, TED Ads Worth Spreading, The Webby Awards, New York Festivals and others. His social campaign for Mellow Mushroom Pizza was named one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s Marketing Masterworks and was used by Twitter as an example of how best to use Twitter.

 

He’s a graduate of the Circus & University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he did not leave early for the NBA draft.

Wes Whitener is SVP, Executive Creative Director at Fitzgerald & CO. He has over a decade’s experience making ads for brands like Coca-Cola, AT&T, Sony, Audi, and Adult Swim. His work has been honored by Cannes, Communication Arts, New York Festivals, Creativity, and has been used by Twitter as an example of how to best use Twitter. When you follow his career from McKinney in North Carolina to GSD&M in Texas all the way to Fitzgerald+CO in Georgia, it’s almost as if he doesn’t like cold weather at all.

Wes is a firm believer that you should have a reason behind everything you do, whether you’re adding a design element to a page or asking a 300-lb. wrestler to wear high heels and jump on a hardwood floor.
